Welcome!

I am Amanda and this is my blog about getting my life balanced, which is my goal for 2011.

I have always been an up-and-down, too-much-to-do-and-overwhelmed or too-little-to-do-and-bored, all-or-nothing kind of person.  I have been mellowing out slowly as I have gotten older, but I want to take actual steps this year to get more balanced.

This blog will follow my journey as I get my body in balance(get in better shape and lose weight), my spirit (find gratitude in every day things and beat stress) and my money (work on a budget).

Things I have mind:

  • Exercise: It doesn’t have to be all or nothing
  • Food: Eat healthy most of the time, then don’t beat myself up if I have a treat
  • Gratitude: Read Simple Abundance and follow the steps outlined
  • Stress: Remember to leave my job at work and to procrastinate less in school work
  • Budget: Eat out less and save that money for fun things like vacations and paying tuition;-)

I will have a monthly focus word that will help me meet my overall yearly goals.  Breaking things into little steps is the only way to accomplish them.  I look forward to documenting this journey and having you all along for the ride:-)
